The Tire Technology Expo 2020 is promoting the highlights of the conference, presenting Oryzasil's lecture as an example of innovation in the rubber sector, highlighting the process developed by the company to produce silica from rice husk ash.
The technology, sustainability and the circular economy applied and pioneered by Oryzasil are described by Europe's largest industry event as follows:
"Oryzasil Silicas Naturals SA produces conventional, highly dispersible and functional silicas (SiO2) from its dedicated plant in Brazil. Oryzasil is one of the first companies to produce silica from rice husk ash on an industrial scale. The ash is a 100% renewable source extracted from burning rice husks via an effluent-free production process.
It should also be noted that tire abrasion and tear contribute considerably to the pollution of the environment by microplastics. Tear and wear resistance of a car tire tread compound can be improved without significantly compromising rolling resistance and wet grip behavior when a highly reinforcing silica made from rice husk ash (Oryzasil HR200MP) is used, the company claims".
We hope to see you there.
